This band is a killer! Mohamed is an insane genius who just started up with home recording. Necrophagist, in itself, is not sell-out by any means. A lot of narrow-minded people there thinks that this band is selling out. Well, their not! It's just that Mohamed's combination of brutal riffs and melodic neo-classical licks caused so much ruckus that even people without any metal background started listening to them. Even Mohamed's Ibanez endorsement is not a sign of selling out. No guitarist would reject a guitar endorsement deal! Necrophagist fucking owns! I admit that there was a time I got tired of them but after listening to a bunch of new underground monstrosities, I realized that Necrophagist belongs there on the top of the ranks like Baal or Astaroth or something, lol! A high ranking demon trampling down the peons to their brutal demise!
But on the downside, Mohamed needs to get a live vocalist. I think his voice lacks the power that instrument-less vocalists have. Think Defeated Sanity. Think Cannibal Corpse. You get the picture.
